Shown here is our custom lifting solution for a components supplier of commercial lawn mowing equipment that was having difficulty manually lifting and maneuvering heavy, pre-cut sheet metal into their press brake. This solution utilizes Industrial Magnetics, Inc.'s cylinder actuated, Rare Earth Transporter® magnetic tooling with a Gorbel® Easy Arm™ that allows the worker to magnetically pick up and hold sheet metal while easily positioning it into the press brake.

The FXP Lift Magnet is great for lifting items with thinner profiles such as i-beams, channels, tubes, and sheet steel. You can safely engage the magnet, lift the steel item, move it to the desired location, and simply release the magnet with one-handed operation. Traditional lift magnets are difficult to operate on these thinner items in comparison to the Flaig FXP units and in many cases cannot be used at all.
